Entry Requirements

Other relevant equivalent qualifications.
Applicants of mature age (i.e. a minimum of 21 years in the calendar year in which entry is being sought) who do not meet any of the admission requirements but possess other qualifications will be required to write the University of Guyana Entrance examination (UGEE).
Any qualification considered by the University to be equivalent to any of the above.
A minimum of five (5) subjects at CSEC General Proficiency (Grades 1, 2, or 3) or five GCE O Levels (Grades A-C) and must include English Language and Spanish.
Applicant who posses qualification at criteria 1 above but do not have a pass in the subject area will be required to begin at the SPANISH 100 Level.
