| Mature age applicants (21 years) who do not meet the admission requirements but possess other qualifications will be required to write the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE).
Note: Applicants who possess passes at the GCE 'A' Level examinations or passes at the CAPE Level two (2) examinations will be eligible for exemptions as determined by the Department. |
| A minimum of five (5) subjects at CSEC General Proficiency (Grades 1, 2, or 3) or five (5) GCE 'O' Levels (Grades A, B, or C) which must include English Language. |
| Any qualification considered by the University to be equivalent to any of the above. |
| Applicants are required to possess a Degree in Social Work
OR a related Degree in the Social/Behavioural Sciences acceptable to the University of Guyana OR
Applicants with a Diploma /Associate Undergraduate Degree in Social, Behavioural, Environmental Sciences and the Humanities would also be eligible to conduct the course along with a minimum of TWO Years work experience in
the Social/Welfare/Human service. |
