Entry Requirements

Description
Passes at five (5) subjects at the CSEC (General Proficiency) Examination, grades I to III (or equivalent) and must include English Language, Mathematics and any two (2) of the following science subjects: Biology/Human Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science (Single Award).
Must be a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of Guyana or any other foreign registration which is acceptable to both the Nursing Council and the University of Guyana.
Persons of mature age (21 years and over) are also eligible, provided they have had a minimum of five (5) years relevant working experience and are successful at the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE)
Any qualification considered by the University to be equivalent to any of the above.
