Student's Welfare

Staffed by one medical doctor and two medexes, the UG Medical Centre provides Primary Health Care Centre to staff and students on the campus, with monthly outreaches to the Berbice campus and the regional IDCE centres. This centre provides the first level of care to students and staff. The University Medical Centre is located on the ground floor of the Cafeteria Building, Turkeyen Campus. The offer the following free services, among others, to both students and staff:

• Tetanus Vaccinations
• Family Planning Clinic and Counselling
• Blood Pressure Testing
